Leading the front-end framework evaluation: Angular to SvelteKit

At Lumeris I led the evaluation of the company's front-end tech stack. The recommendation set the standard for new web applications and moved the company from Angular to SvelteKit.

The process

• Research: I researched the options, including Angular, SvelteKit, Next.js with React, and Vue.
• Prototypes: I built comparable prototypes, so each option was judged on the same work.
• Assessment: I assessed each option against the company's needs.
• Presentation: I presented the findings to technology leadership.

The outcome

Leadership adopted the recommendation, and SvelteKit became the framework for new web applications. Work that followed, including the shared component library and the SvelteKit deployment template, built on that decision.
